Review Of Lost in France (Firebird Trilogy)

Goodreads Summary

Lost in France is an erotic contemporary
romance novel set in Paris, the city of Love
and Romance.
Warning: 18+++
Lost. The one thing I’ve wanted above
everything else was taken from me in one
night. My dreams were shattered forever
because of one irreversible mistake.
There was nothing I could do about it.
I’d lost everything.
So I did what I always do. I ran.
To another continent.
To France.
To start over.
God knows, I needed a new beginning; a
new job, a new life.
To find what I truly wanted…needed…
craved. A man of my own.
My French man found me. He was perfect.
Or…was he. Alain du Bois had a secret. One
that could destroy us before we even had a
chance to find love.
And why was my new boss, Maxwell Grant,
the arrogant and demanding CEO of Grant
Global, fixated on me?
Would I find myself in France?
Would I get what I desperately wanted?
Or was I jumping from one hotter than hell
fire into another?
A note from Jani:
This book contains LOTS of sizzling sex. I
make no apologies for that.
However, if you are sensitive to copious
overt sex scenes and it's not your thing, I
respect that too - hence this warning.
For those that enjoy sensuous steamy
sexcapades, Lost in France will not
disappoint.
The end will leave you breathless,
screaming for book 2. Guaranteed.
Book 2 in The Firebird Trilogy - NO
REGRETS - will be released end of January
2014.
Lost In France is Part 1 of 3 in the exciting
new Firebird Series.

My review:- First of all a great thanks to FR girls and Jani Kay for providing me an ARC of such an awesome book. Rebecca is a working lady, who flees, or much say escaped the tormenting life of her in Australia because of her ex lover, with whom she wants to put a distance in between them. When she met a handsome Frenchmen with whom she fall in love with madly. The story revolves around her and the other characters, all trying to get her to bed them unsuccessfully. Only the main guy, Alain succeeding it. There aren't much characters in the book, minor characters are really well minor. But the main characters are, in my opinion, fully taken use of them. Alain serve as a perfect, every girl's dream guy from the beginning. Maxwell, on the other hand, well he is arrogant and caring at the same time. Rebecca is the result of a hard work by the author, to make a character which looks as realistic as our lives are. She is torn apart between 2, or should I say 3 guys. The irony is everyone of them is either engaged or married. She hates her boss but than she falls in love, kinda, with him, when she realized that there is a nice guy in him, which he doesn't like to show off. Everything in the story is perfect, contains everything which is needed to makes a contemporary erotic perfect. I love the way how there's a transformation in Rebecca from a secured girl to a little dependent, which she kept on questioning about herself. But story is well written, with erotic sex scenes, enough to make anyone feel gasping for air *winks*. The chemistry and connection between the leads is electrifying, and their little escapade, Ohh wait sexcapades !!!! I love the way story went on, never feeling bored out of it. It made me realize that's how the aristocracy works, in a kind of way. People are caring but to fulfill their parent's they sometime back out from their love. I fall in love with the last part, when he choose property. I don't wants to be mean, but it connected me with my own heartache. Having left by my loved one that morning when I completed the book, he last part made me feel connected to it, in every way. The way she felt rejected that she is left out because of someone else, again feeling like she is compromised. The last lines or one of the last, "It is time to move on, again !!" Leave an impression on me. They are the lines which everyone either thinks or says, when they are deserted by their loved ones. These were the exact lines, which I have had used when I was deserted, so thumbs up for the connection. The difference is just that Rebecca is a girl and I'm a boy. Now I'm badly waiting for the next part. So my rating for this amazing book are........4.5/5 There's a giveaway held by the publishers and Author, which I would like my dear people to take part in. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Jani has been married for a long time to a special man, and her two children and their partners are the sunshine in her life. She is a voracious reader and would spend her last dollar on a book - always fascinated that for the mere price of a book, she can escape her world for a while and see through someone else's eyes.

Besides reading, her favorite 'thing' is traveling - she has traveled the world, learning about the ways people live and has come to the realization that no matter where we live, we all ultimately want the same things. Her hobby - Scrapbooking - keeps her up till way after midnight and her usual subjects are her family and her travels.

Ever since she can remember, Jani wanted to write stories about people, about their lives and loves. Relationships and Happiness - arguably the most difficult things to master in life and yet exactly what everyone ultimately desires (in her humble opinion).

Review of Allegiant

Allegiant (Divergent, #3)Allegiant by Veronica Roth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm editing this review because of some people, first for those who are giving it one star or two or like this reviews. I know everyone hold their opinion but still grow up, you can't rate a book, of the ending. I know it's heartbreaking but still the book is very good, POV is explained awesomely and writing is simple. Don't hate it because of the way it ends. We all love the series, It's better than 90% of the other series, which are over rated, and we can't let the series end as a disappointment. It deserves our love :)

I don't know where to starts. Book started rather slow and it found it pace after almost halfway.
The explanations, about the outer world are somewhat rusty, or rather say confusing. With people living in other simulated cities and all.
And than things seems to rush forward like Veronica is desperately trying to write down the story as fast as possible. Making things happen in a blur, some times making us wander what exactly had happened.
The thing which is nagging me is that she dies !!!!!! she freaking dies !!!! She is my second most favourite character and she is just gone. It can't be happening, gave tears in my eyes, I didn't cried but I was heavy for like whole the time and it will nag on me for my freaking life that she actually dies.
The other thing is that the guy who killed her, he survived and it's making me go insane and government labelled her as a rebel !!!!! She deserves a status of a hero not some rebel.
Ugh !!!! so frustrated now....but I love this series so much that I can't give it anything less than 5 stars.

Review of My Mr Manny by Jennifer Garcia

I was given a advance reading copy for an honest review. It's what I think of the novel.
My Mr Manny is a story of a struggling girl Mia Balducci, who from childhood never found the happiness and the family she seeks, than one day she meets a guy namely Alex from her childhood and they fell in love and get married and have a girl Lucia and from this point the novel fast forwards and now Lucia is big but her parents get separated. In the beginning Mia tries to raise her on her own but she soons realized that she won't be able to match her schedule with the getting day by day busy schedule of Lucia and than arrives the Manny, the prefect man and than the story is about how they find love and how Lucia finds a father.
First I appreciates the author for her work and and for choosing a topic to write a novel, which others these days doesn't choose. Today market is flooded with young-adult novels so I appreciates it. The story was good and upto point and I especially liked the character of Mia, a woman who was willing to raise her child on her own and Dominic is a perfect man who never shown any bad signs. But I found few faults like Mia started becoming a dependent woman and that Dominic is a perfect man except one fault, I think there should have been more characterization on the Dominic's side and a little experiment with Mia becoming dependent is out of league. There are other characters too but they all have minor roles and I found them enough worked on. I never get bored while reading it and never thought of putting it away it kept me engage with itself throughout the whole book.
So if I gave my final verdict to the story it will be I enjoyed it and it have some good moment of it and it was a new experience after so much of a flood of young-adult lately so I'll be giving it four and half stars out of five.

My opinion on Forever too far by Abbi Glines

ASIN: B00DAHSFYI
series: Too Far #3
characters: Rush Finlay, Blaire Wynn
setting: Rosemary Beach, Florida (United States)
Beverly Hills, California (United States)
Key West, Florida (United States)

Synopsis :

Rush promised her forever... but promises
can be broken.
Torn between his love for his family and
his love for Blaire, Rush has to find a way
to save one without losing the other. In the
end one has to be more important. Letting
go isn’t easy.
Blaire believed in her fairytale... but no one
can live in a fantasy.
Her love for Rush and desire to have a
family keep her believing that they can find
a way for this to work. Until she has to
make the right decision for her and the
baby. Even if it breaks her heart.

What I think of the book :

The book started pretty well and rush now had started taking responsibilities of her. The writing was simple with some hot and erotic scenarios..
I liked the book but it wasn't upto the par which I knows other books by Abbi are but it get me hooked up. I'll say that I loved the book but I still prefers the first one which remains my favourite in all the three books. Although it have some points and like previous books it gets me emotional at some points when I feels really sorry for Blaire.

Now to characterization. The books take place in key west, los Angeles and the rosemary beach and we saw few new characters which were mentioned throughout the series but weren't materialized. The biggest surprise was captain.
Nan is still an attention seeking brat and I can't understand why author is letting her to live. Characters like her should be let alone die. Rush is seriously over protective, over possessive guy and I never liked him instead I prefers grant and woods they both are my favourite male in the series I hoped that Rush dies because he seriously annoys the sh*t outta me but the biggest surprise was Harlow a pearl in the dirt.....yes you heard me right !!!!!! She is totally a type of girl which I wanted in the series the girl I missed in last two books so hats off to Abbi to bring a character which I wanted. She is shown as a shy girl, who is happy with her own world and is busy in her novels and who isn't a sex freak like the other members of the family. Although she is only a minor character and I hopes Abbi will do some spin off and Harlow will be the heroine.

Final verdict:
I wanted to give 3 stars but I'll settle myself with 4 stars out of five, one extra for Harlow...

Dan Brown's inferno review

ISBN:-0385537859 (ISBN13: 9780385537858)
edition language English
original title Inferno (Robert Langdon, #4)
series Robert Langdon #4
characters Robert Langdon , Sienna Brooks
Setting:-İstanbul (Turkey)
Florence (Italy)

My review and synopsis:-

Lately I got my hands on inferno by Dan Brown
Like previous novels it is based on one of the master piece this time Dante's inferno
Novel starts with someone jumping to his death and we saw Robert waking up in a hospital and suffering from amnesia and he doesn't know what he is doing in Florence and how he got there and then the adventure starts from Florence to Venice and then in the Istanbul
As always there are symbols with deceiving hints there are too much twists in the novel I think more than from the previous novels I won't disclose the plot more because I don't want to spoil the suspense of the novel
As far as characterisation is concerned there is justice done but there are only two main characters
Other characters have only small roles but justifying
On literary level it doesn't have much to offer it simply is just an adventure level but as I'm a fan of the series I love the novel it keeps ne busy with it's twists after every few pages
I'll give the novel 4 out 5 but honestly this novel is for only the fan of this series if you're looking for some literary work then don't bother yourself by reading it

Review of perfect scoundrels by Ally Carter

Book name : Perfect scoundrels
Author : Ally Carter
Publisher : Hyperion
Genre : young adult,heist,crime thriller
Published on 5th February 2013
Synopsis :-
Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth
were born to lead completely different lives:
Kat comes from a long, proud line of
loveable criminal masterminds, while Hale
is the scion of one of the most seemingly
perfect dynasties in the world. If their
families have one thing in common, it's that
they both know how to stay under the
radar while getting-or stealing-whatever
they want. No matter the risk, the Bishops
can always be counted on, but in Hale's
family, all bets are off when money is on
the line. When Hale unexpectedly inherits
his grandmother's billion dollar
corporation, he quickly learns that there's
no place for Kat and their old heists in his
new role. But Kat won't let him go that
easily, especially after she gets tipped off
that his grandmother's will might have
been altered in an elaborate con to steal the
company's fortune. So instead of being the
heir-this time, Hale might be the mark.
Forced to keep a level head as she and her
crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes
up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan
that only the Bishop family would dare
attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do
the impossible, but first, she has to decide if
she's willing to save her boyfriend's
company if it means losing the boy. Review:-
This the third novel in heist society series in this novel we saw Katarina bishop trying to save her boyfriend's life or indirectly her own life the new entry in the heist society is not that page turner like the previous novels in the series specifically the first one
I saw novel's plot out of line she is trying to caught the villain but he knows all about her and her family so there's not much in which we can say is heist
There isn't a single word about Romani in the novel but I think we all know who is Romani
But the climax is a little unexpected
Gabrielle's mother is the surprise package but uncle Eddie and Charlie's role are pivotal
Well I'll  give it 4 out 5 stars not much
My favourite was the first one only when they rob Henley
So all in all I can say you can try out this novel if you're Katarina bishop's fan
Warning:- this review is a little out of date as novel is released 3 months ago
